Thanks So Much

Happy Monday...and happy Halloween! While we are not big Halloween people in our house, my son certainly does enjoy dressing up and visiting his friends' houses for tricks and treats. I'm sure tonight will be TONS of fun!
Today I have a shaker card I designed a while back, but neglected to share with you. It uses the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits.

I stamped the wreath in Crushed Curry and then the accent leaves in Cherry Cobbler...they turn rust-coloured when layered on the yellow. The window on for the shaker was die-cut using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits. The die-cut sentiment is from the Hello You Thinlits and the stamped sentiments if from the coordinating Crazy About You stamp set. I used Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate for the window on the shaker and filled the shaker with sequins. The background is Kraft card stock that I embossed using the Petal Burst TIEF.

On the inside of the card I simply stamped along the bottom edge with the accent leaves stamp from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set using Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler ink.

I love making shaker cards...they are such fun!! Have marvelous Monday and a wonderful week!

Sleigh and Pines

I am so excited! Tonight is my third of six Christmas card buffets this season. I thought I would show you one of the projects that will be available to my guest this evening...

Isn't that sleigh yummy in copper? I love the contrast of the copper foil against the Early Espresso base.  Both were cut using the Santa's Sleigh thinlits. The background panel is a piece of Kraft card stock that I embossed using the Woodgrain TIEF. The pine branches were die-cut using the Pretty Pines thinlits from Old Olive and Garden Green card stock.

The sentiment is from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Kraft card stock. The only embellishments here are some copper metallic thread behind the sleigh and some Real Red stitched satin ribbon.

On the inside I added a Very Vanilla panel on which I stamped the sentiment is Early Espresso ink, the wreath in Old Olive and the little bitty bow in Real Red. All of the images are from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set.

Have a thrilling Thursday...one more day till the weekend!!

Peace on Earth

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a good week. Today I have a quick and easy Christmas card for you that I absolutley LOVE! Check it out...

Isn't that copper embossing on the sheet music DSP yummy?? I am loving that look! I began with a piece of This Christmas Specialty DSP (the sheet music pattern) and then heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Be Jolly, by Golly stamp set in copper. I used the Layering Circles Framelits to die-cut both the DSP and the Real Red scalloped circle behind it.

The background is a piece of Kraft card stock that I embossed using the Pine Bough TIEF. I added a strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP, some burlap ribbon and a bit of Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine before mounting it on a Real Red card stock base. I The only additional embellishments are a pair of cute mini pinecones (in copper, of course!).

On the inside I stamped one of the sentiments from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel. Quick and easy peasy!

Have a terrific Tuesday!
